Current Projects

Our most exciting project has been the United Way Day of Caring. Each program that receives funding from the United Way has a chance once a year to apply for a project to be done. We didn't get a chance to be involved last year, but this year we applied for or offices to be painted and the cielings retextured. All of the services and supplies were donated. We would like to thank Bob's Building Supply of Brainerd for their donation, as well as the Painters and Drywall Union for coming in and painting. Everything looks so great! Another project that we have been working on for a while is crime specific brochures, giving general information and resources for the community regarding each crime. One project that is very exciting is the new information that we afe getting out in the community. You can stop up at the office and ask for information or it can be picked up at the County Attorney's Office, Central Lakes College, and other area businesses. We are also looking for ideas to raise money for the United Way, so if anybody out there has a good one, send it our way!
